Lenovo Unveils Revolutionary Gaming Laptop with Expandable Screen
The company announced the Legion Pro Rollable concept laptop. Its key feature is a unique flexible PureSight OLED display that can extend horizontally, increasing its diagonal size from a base of 16 inches to an impressive 24 inches.
Technical Base and “Stretchable” Display
The laptop is built on the powerful Legion Pro 7i platform and will be equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra processors and the top-tier mobile NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card.
The flexible display offers three modes:
- 16 inches (Focus Mode): Standard size for mobile use.
- 21.5 inches (Tactical Mode): An enlarged view for greater in-game visibility.
- 24 inches (Arena Mode): Maximum size, created specifically for esports athletes accustomed to large desktop monitors.
Switching between modes happens with a single button press. To keep the screen flat and prevent sagging, a special tension system with two motors is used, which smoothly and silently extends the panel from both sides.
Intelligent Technologies for Gaming
For maximum performance, the laptop uses Lenovo’s proprietary LA Core controllers and AI Engine+ technology. They automatically optimize power consumption and frame rates in real time based on the load.
Another smart feature is AI-based Smart FPS. It dynamically adjusts graphical settings in games to ensure a consistently high and smooth frame rate.
