Indian AI Studio Blo Partners with U.S. Firm for Groundbreaking Mars Documentary
The Indian studio Blo from Mumbai has teamed up with Disruptor Studios in the U.S. to work on a documentary series, “Alyssa Carson: Ready for Lift Off.” This project marks the first foray of an Indian AI studio into the American market.
The series tells the story of 24-year-old Alyssa Carson, a space enthusiast and astrobiologist who has been training since the age of three to become the first human to set foot on Mars. In an innovative approach, the series will use artificial intelligence, developed in collaboration with Carson and a team of planet scientists and AI specialists, to visualize potential human life on Mars across different timeframes—in 10, 50, and 100 years.
The creators emphasize the project’s groundbreaking nature. The CEO of Studio Blo stated this is the first India-Hollywood co-production using AI for an international TV series and that they are incredibly proud of this achievement. He added that the project aligns with their mission to tell inspiring stories that transcend borders.
The founder of Disruptor Studios highlighted the project’s technical innovation, stating that bringing Alyssa Carson’s mission to the screen would have been nearly impossible without AI. He stressed that the project proves AI is not a threat, but a tool for creating stories and scenes that would have been prohibitively expensive to produce in the past.
This partnership represents a strategic expansion for Studio Blo into international markets, positioning Indian AI technology as a bridge between local innovation and global storytelling.
